As announced before, Haruma will play drag queen Lola.
In this visual we can see Haruma is wearing bright red “kinky boots” with more than 15 cm heels!
The boots were brought directly from its home country New York.
About Kinky Boots:
Charlie (played by Koike Teppei), an heir to an old shoe factory which fell into financial turmoil, meets Lola (played by Miura Haruma) a drag queen.
Throwing away discrimination or prejudice, the story paints the rebirth of a drag queen in a boots factory.
Kinky Boots will be staged from July 21 to August 6 at Tokyo New National Theater, and from August 13 to August 22 at Osaka Oryx Theater.
