Из подкаста "Slow Chinese" услышала новое понятие: "Рак гетеросексуала" - это про мужчину, который не ценит женщин, считает, что их призвание - рожать, запрещает жене работать, ни хрена не понимает в моде и уходе за собой, и т.п.
According to an article in The Nanfang on “Chinese relationship slang,” “straight-man cancer” 直男癌,, refers to a “fictional non-curable disease that straight men can get. Patients infected with this disease usually show symptoms such as having terrible fashion sense, feeling good about themselves and holding disrespect [for] women. The term is now more often being used [to refer to] male chauvinism.”
